We went with a wired system as our research told us the pic would be clearer and no interference

However it is actually intended i think for long rvs or trailers as it has a very long and robust cable 65 or so and for your particular use the camera mounting may be challenging

Anyway a very good unit just make sure you understand where you will be able to put the screen in the car and where and how you can mount the camera outside the vehicle
