The book includes a simple diet chart sample that gives you a good idea of what you should be eating. It includes real life food unlike the charts and guides typical dieticians give. I bet gd happens to any high carb, sugar load diet.

If you have been diagnosed with gd or even failed the first 1hr test, get this book. Once you are diagnosed you have an increased chance of being diagnosed again in subsequent pregnancies.

Cons

Recipes are not useful for me since being vegetarian.
