The flame is 10-12 high on max. The only negative is the included lava rock. The grey round lava rocks on amazon look great but shouldn't have had to go to the trouble.

The material this firepit is made of basically peels, cracks and dissolves. There is a coating over the box so it's not a cast material of that color. The item was cracked and is cheaply made.
