Body measurements (girth-length-neck). Snaps for neck are adjustable for thinner or wider. My dog has a topline of 17 and a girth of 17.

The raincoat fits him perfectly with the back going all the way down to his tail. The stitching is solid and secure. Put your thumb nail between thesnaps one at a time and then carefullypull the snaps apart.

My dog is mixed with a hound of some kind (maybe saluki? My 30lb puli (24-19. Lbs) my 20lb silky terrier (20-16. Lbs) just arrived and fits my 5 1/2 lb yorkie chihuahua ok.

Cons

The material is lightweight, like way too lightweight. The chest straps are attached to the poncho in the wrong place. It's absolutely adorable but it falls to the side as my dog walks.
