If you are planning to vlan be prepared for a steap learing curve as its significantly different than any other manufacturer ive encountered also make sure you setup the vlans in the switch section not the bridge section

Dont be fooled by the small size the range is incredible and even without the wireless this is an extremely powerful router that could be used in bridge mode with wireless aps and work flawlessly

Heres the bottom line if you need an all in one wireless router or even a plain old router for your aps just disable the wireless its still a powerful router do yourself a huge favour and return that cheap piece of glossy plastic you bought at a big box store for 80 bucks and order this router

Setup went exactly as expected it pulled an ip from my modem as soon as i plugged it in and powered it on

Wireless setup is very easy via the app or via the web interface with their quick set function so i will not complain too much there

Winbox is recommended over the web gui for overall usability as it is accessible regardless of whether or not the router has an ip you can use the mac address to connect to the router via ethernet
