This item is very sturdy and installed easily. There are no leaks and it holds our rainshower head with no trouble. Works great with my rainfall shower head.

Because of the metal tube's oval design it can be made longer than other brands. This appears to be a very solid product. I like it, but it's absolutely not stainless steel.

The entire body of it is made of reinforced light plastic with a chrome finish. It's cheap alternative when compared to having it done by a plumber. we all know that no one reads instructions, right?

Showerhead is plated pvc and not solid metal. I dared not tighten the bolt any further than i did. No matter how hard you tighten the wheel, it caves in and droops, smacking the showerhead into the wall.

It's cheap plastic that bends and buckles, threatening to fall apart. Very cheap plastic with chrome covering. The defects in the surface are highly visible in multiple locations. The material is hard plastic and too brittle.
