Only con is the use of 9v battery, which is trivial since the battery life is long. It seems to work fine and it makes aquaponic gardening alot easier.
It generally agrees with my other thermometers, so i trust the readings. Very fast & accurate readings of surface temps. All the guys at work love them, they are accurate and tuff.
This device is extremely helpful for doing your own home energy audit. Also used it along my hvac ducting to show those leaks. When they are doing preventative maintenance they always check the temp at each vent.
Cons
The instrument i received is very inaccurate. Temperature is not accurate. Never reads correct body temperature.
