Has 3 light settings, led for a dim night light, one bulb setting or 2 bulb setting. Bulbs are flouresent and replaceable witch is a good thing. I prefer the florescent tubes compared to leds as they are less intense.

Cons
Looks rugged, but don't be deceived, these are pretty poorly made. Used once for an hour. It is not dependable. Disappointed is the safest version of my feelings.
The bottom lid that is used to put the batteries in it is very poorly made. The screw that secures the battery compartment on the bottom of the lantern is the worst design flaw and will frustrate you beyond belief.

The factory oem fluorescent tubes that are in it have decent brightness to them they are a bit color rendering if you are sensitive to really daylight time lightbulbs they do make replacements firm that i have ordered and put them in to change the color temp on them to warm white with warm white bulbs you get more brighter light and hell of a lot more time on battery life

The lights were fine but ups set the box behind my yard gate and did not let us know it rained and when i finally found it the box fell apart

We also noticed that when the batteries get run down the tubes will not turn on however they will go on if you turn on just one set of tubes rather than both

So you get a bit more light before the batteries totally die but use this condition as a dire warning to put in fresh batteries asap
