Pros
This battery is larger in both length and width! Have not encountered any issues at all. The flashlight now works again. It's good to have a flashlight.
Cons
The coast guard does not accept expired batteries. Battery was packaged in a fairly large box with no internal cushioning.

The casing is there to prevent water from getting in so as long as i know the flashlight will be away from water at all times its ok

Hard to find but what i need for my vintage lighti have bought this several times but my latest battery was not packaged well just put in plastic mailer and was dented but it worked so did not send back

Yes it says screw terminals but not knowing what the squiggly wire terminals are actually called and having only ever seen one type of 6 volt battery in 70 years i didnt pay much attention

I tore the wire off the dead battery and stuck it over one of the screw terminals not the center one the offset one which has no other way to make contact without using the flexible wire
