Rayovac thermostats are reliable, long-lasting, and come in a variety of sizes to fit most devices. Lots of bang for the buck here. They have the same 10 year shelf life.

Cons

Batteries corroded and leaked acid into all the battery holder compartments. Totally trashed one of my better flashlights and my programable remote. I am not happy having my fav flashlight coroded.

Energizer lithium is advertised as 100% leakproof. The batteries leak after only a short while. They also claim they're designed to prevent leaking, not even close.

Competitiveness

I have bene using rayovack since 2017 and have had no leaks which i cannot say for the competitors

I find this much better than some competitors whose batteries come in flat packaging
