As far as portability is concerned, this tripod is the bomb. Extremely versatile. The ball design just gives you a huge advantage and endless possibilities to align it right.



Cons

Just pull out center column. After retracting it, trying to extend it was just as bad. If you swivel the camera for any amount of rotations to reposition, it unscrews. There is no level and the connectors are weak and hard to adjust.

Overall just a frustrating. Everything about the tripod is poorly executed. Not practical to use.

    I just got it today and when i ordered it i thought j was taking a risk at a cheap plastic tripod

    Eventually i was able to get the leg to retract but it wasnt very smooth

    I contacted ravelli to see if i could send it in to get it fixed then sent back to me and they said they cant fix it and that its the older model anyways instead i was offered to be sent the newer model
