The ratcheting system is awesome and allows you to tighten the belt to a custom fit. I have never had any excess play/wiggle in the components, everything is secure.

This belt feels 100% more sturdy. It's very durable and sturdy. Buckle is perfect for engraving.
Cons
I'm not averse to the use of modern plastics but it's downright deceitful for this to be advertised as genuine leather that will last a long time. The belt is now too short for me. Can't get the coloring out.
