Pros

The belt itself seems to be made of real leather, and is very nicely stitched and finished. The leather is very soft and supple and the belt is very light. I always have issues with belts scuffing my pants, especially if i sit for long periods.

The belt is adjustable by cutting the extra off, the ratcheting buckle grabs firmly, and the belt itself seems thick enough. The black buckle isn't really black, but it is much darker than the silver buckle. This gives the end of the belt a strong cur... Read More

The instructions on the instruction card which comes with the belt, show making the cut with large scissors. When cutting the belt to fit into the buckle, use a large, very sharp--say like a chef's knife--on a cutting board.

The only negative here is the packaging. These are the best belts on the market, imo. For ease of use these mark fred belts are superior to the other brand.

Cons

These seem to be made very poorly and both belts were a complete waste of money. There is a pin that comes out with normal use that doesn’t allow for it to unratchet.

Its probably a good thing that it doesnt open easily or you would likely have problems with the buckle breaking free from the belt

The come coiled up in a fairly tight coil with the gray and brown side out and a paper sleeve protecting the finish on them

The price was right and i got move value than i anticipated
