    One sd card is packaged with the device which contains the os so if like me you want to use a different image for your application it might not hurt to invest in a second sd card although you can always reflash the original os with the noobs image

    Works fine and is really easy to put together with an added bonus that you get a os preinstalled on the sd card only think i think is missing would be a few heat sinks
