I don’t find the tripod to be unstable even with heavy weights larger lenses have collars and you support the lens weight rather then the camera body

Users who have large gripped pro level cameras will be better served moving up a few notched in the size department – this is well suited to entry up to semi pro bodieswith this design it incorporates a 2 stage centre column that can also be reversed for very low down shooting

My lone complaint is the tripod legs cannot open for infinite adjustment

The tripod opens and locks the legs in fixed spots and the lever is stiff to operate

Used it for some video work too and all it took was to fine line the tightness of the ballhead so it is not wobbly and just operate the cam hand held

Opening the legs out they have a friction mechanism that can be adjusted using the supplied allen key and a two stop latch mechanism that allows them to be splayed out at two different angles

The leg marked with a gold tip can be removed by unscrewing to form a monopod to which the head can be attached directly
