The recessed nut is nylock, so it does take a bit of force to get tight. The previously reported issue with the machine screw is fixed. I love the fact that i can use a screwdriver to tighten it to the point i feel comfortable it's not going to vibrat... Read More

Works perfect, and for you gopro guys and gals, garmins thumb screw works perfect right out of the bag.

This one works with the ultra 30. Purchased to be able to mount gopro hero 9 to my ram mount system on the dash of my overland truck camper.

Cons

Screw is too small for holes and wiggles around. I want to replace the screw and washer supplied with a gopro standard thumbscrew but cannot without a nut that will fit. The bolt it comes with has to be tightened down by a phillip’s head screwdriver.

Design flaw. Not up to ram's or gopro's standards. Which is a pity, since it is a great product otherwise. Sad state of affairs at the ram mount company.
