The chapters were alternated between lucy and juliet’s point of view. While lucy is the sassy one, juliet is the worrier and more down to earth person. We are very different just like juliet & lucy are.

When lucy's life falls apart she decides to escape across the pond to a small town in england where her sister owns a b&b. Her sister rachel runs a bed and breakfast in the seaside village of “hartley-by-the-sea”.
