Pros

This works perfectly in perking up my hair. It's messy, but the results are worth it. I know how messy and time consuming it is so i prepared.

I have natural reddish highlights and this brought them out. It's kind of bright at first, but it mellows to a more natural looking color as it oxidizes.

This henna covers gray, as well, or better, than otc hair color. I am a redhead who has gone blonde with age. This product blends it all together for what i'm going for.

Good results depend on proper utilization of this resource. Overall, it’s a great way to color hair without toxins and damage! I am thrilled to find a natural product that is actually good for my hair.

There is a chance that it just doesn't cover roots well and is meant for lighter hair. My fault for not investigating this claim. Was not impressed by customer support, either.

Packaging/appearance

I make a thin paste with boiling water and let sit overnight with stirring to get out all the lumps

But packaging of product is not good received in ziplock with instruction paper

Then just rinsed it out in the shower using conditioner rather than shampoo

It was slightly messy stained my hands for a day or two and left a couple stains on the tshirt i was wearing
