If you plan on using a mouse in addition to the track pad this is an exact fit for the laptop and would not have room for mouse use

The front pad wont stay on but other than that it works well

It gets my laptop off my legslap and elevates it enough so that viewing the screen places my head in a more upright position

The pad came off rather quickly the velcro was not very secure on the stand itself
