Great upgrade. Working as programmed now.
Rainbird irrigation controller. Easy to change out from existing controller. Can control anything on the timer from anywhere with the app. Hard to believe such a good app for a sprinkler system.

I have eero mesh routers and wifi signal is strong and i didn't have to turn off the 5g signal to get it to connect.
Cons
The app is okay but the controls on the controller box is hard for gardeners to use. The wifi module in this controller is very weak - it has trouble staying connected to the router. Every day the app says irrigation suspended.

This is a very good controller than already has wifi enabled
Super easy install and the mobile app works great
The wifi module isnt working at all the led didnt turn on the module isnt broadcasting a wifi network
Even though it has a strong signal connecting doesnt work over half the time
Price
Since the wifi module alone costs between 80 and 100 retail this unit with the module already installed is a bargain
4 stars because the addition of wifi should not be 100 or cause the purchase of a new controller
So for 20 more i bought this controller that is already wifi enabled
Competitiveness
Certainly better than the rachio or orbit
But still less flexible than opensprinkler a makeroriented controller

The big scam in these is that many are sold as 34wifi enabled34 for which you have to pay another 100 for a wifi module

I thought thats what i had to do with a controller at a new house only to find that my controller didnt take the wifi module

I can understand the complaints regarding the poor visibility of the units display in bright light but once the time and date are programmed everything else can be set up using the app on your phone from the comfort of your home
