Pros & Cons
Pros
This plastic rain bird sprinkler outperforms them all and at a very reasonable price. Sprinkler is light and durable, although don’t drag around and set in place with care.
Performance is a tad slow but all the adjustments are there and work as expected. Have your 1/4” nut driver handy for this. Lowe's used to have them.
Cons
For 360 degree spray i flip the bail up so it doesn't make contact with the range-limiting adjusters. The head just circles about, unrestricted. This product uses a gland fitting that is not the 1/2 size. These are touted to have a 50 foot radius.
Thumbs down to this product. While it's still a quality casting, the assembly of the product and lack of quality control, says this is not the company the made the dependable products i used for years. Worthless after 2 months. These are trash.
Support is non-existent. After one ring it disconnects me.

The brass ones are expensive and heavy

Although they are more durable they also seem to be less effective unless you have pretty high water pressure

Low pressure makes them either not work or not have the range

The cheaper metal ones are not as heavy but still tend not to work well if you dont have a higher pressure system

They all seem to suffer from corrosion problem after a time and this keeps them from turning freely causing stuck sprinklers only shooting water in one direction the cheap plastics ones are just that
