Upon inspection the old product it appears that the lens had small cracks that either interfered with motion sensing or allowed moisture that incapacitated the device

Rather than replace my nonfunctioning light with an expensive unit i just replaced the motion sensor

I thought since the cheap motion sensors from the big box stores were so unreliable out of the box with short lifespan typically 20 ea a unit at 50 would fare better
