Pros
Being led they run much cooler than their predecessors and consume much less power. This is a superb lamp, dimmable and it does not flicker.
Arrived very quickly and works like a champ. They seem well built and i'm very pleased with the swap. Very happy with its performance, the downside is the cost!
I was horrified to see how much it was costing me to run the uplighter.
Cons
I don't use them much - the hallway in question is not busy. Avoidand i want my money refunded, thanks!

Ive replaced 80w halogens with these 14w 118mm slim r7s
Good value high brightness drop in replacement for 50w halogen
For me the only problem due to its size is it doesnt allow light to go down through a bottom small window in my uplighter lamp

Rather strangely it flashes during the night and it glows when it sits on my hand

Previously halogens where so fragile hot that they didnt seem to last 5 mins

Also i cant comment on the life span of the lamp but being led and running cool they should far out last a sackful of halogens
