It does work with the hue app however you cannot add it to an entertainment zone and use the hue sync app
The color reproduction is not near as good as actual philips hue products but it mixes in with the others just fine

I also run homebridge so getting this to also work with homekit siri was a bonus
I have a mix of philips hue bulbs and lamps this is my first zigbee compatable lamp

No third party zigbee lamps have this feature anyway

Setting it up was a little confusing you have to turn it on and off 5 times or something it took me about 10 minutes before it came up in the hue app

From there though it works fine with my hue remote and the app and is a welcome addition in my system
