I like that the contrast potentiometer is on the front left part of the board since i read from others that it was on the back of the lcd and they had to desolder it to adjust it

Overall all the components are of good quality and only had 1 pin bent a bit but nothing too serious

After reading some more about problems people were having it became apparent that the melzi board that came with the printer is the culprit

Being new it to 3d printing in general not to mention the electronics of 3d printers it seemed a little overwhelming at first since it didnt come with instructions at all
