Pros
Sometimes the fibers are a bit chunky in places, but overall it's great. Great product. Very sturdy. Great quality material.
Allure laminate flooring quieted creaks in subfloor. Provides a nice cushion when paired with the carpet padding. Insulates very well.
Used as underlayment for luxury vinyl plank flooring over wood subfloor. Excellent for vinyl plank flooring. Will use as underlayer in a second story condo to help with 2 way noise reduction.
It installs easily, is a good thickness. Easy to install and use.
Cons
The blue side is very fragile and would tear if the wooden board rubbed on it a bit too hard. It's very difficult to cut with a utility knife as there are many fabric fragments. Sounds exactly like the cheap plastic foam.
