Pros & Cons
Pros
Fantastic idea, and even a very good execution otherwise. Simple enough to be easily used and light enough to carry in a pocket. Very light weight and easy to use.
The only drawback is, and i have not tried to, it maybe possible to cut through with a good bolt cutter. I push it down to keep kids or dogs from getting stabbed in the eye if it sticks out. Could be used to secure equipment to a dolly for transportat... Read More
They are easy to operate and can be threaded through pretty much any sturdy part of your bike. Usually i take my bike in with me, but that's not always feasible (such as a port-o-potty) they are very strong and they offer several different locking poi... Read More
Still works though. There's a button below to click if it was.
The locks are perfect for tieing helmets and seat posts. The slim ties fit through the narrow holes of the helmet that their normal bike chain didn't fit.
Cons
Just bending the lock back and forth is enough to snap it in half. No more secure than a rope tied with a square knot (see youtube videos) these were used outside in 60 degree temperature and couldn’t hold up.
Highlights
Quality
These are good light weight lockties to keep people honest
Feel very solid and secure nice and lightweight boyfriend didnt know they had steel cores until i told him
These have no play in the material so with any type of small bend it cracks under pressure
No lore getting stabbed by stray wire from cables or pinched by perforated metal locks
Price
The great price is also a bonus
I would never consider these appropriate for securing even an inexpensive bicycle in public longer than a few minutes
Wanted a simple way to lock my rotopax without buying their locking upgrades at 35 a pop or whatever
Packaging/appearance
Unit is lightweight packable and provides a modest amount of security
Doubt they’d stand up to someone intent on it packing some bolt cutters or similar but i just want to keep some drunk stumbling... Read More

Unfortunately the grooves that allow it to cinch and hold only go so far up the tie leaving a few inches of wasted length

This would not deter a thief if they had some time to get at it but for just a quick stop to fill a water bottle or whatever it is good
