Pros
They are very lightweight and should make for good hiking shorts. They are comfy. The material is light weight and comfortable. Fast drying and very comfortable.
The riveted button closure is a wonderful feature that you seldom get with lightweight pants/shorts. The elastic in the waist is very giving. Slightly stretchy material fits great and is super comfortable.
My proportions are such that the past purchases of shorts et al required tailoring. These shorts fit better than the custom tailored ones.
Cons
Product is seriously poofy in the front. Material ok, but fit way above the knee. Very disappointed with this product overall.

A word of caution if you have to handle car boat batteries while wearing any nylon or cotton for that matter while wearing these shorts sulphuric battery acid will instantly core a very neat hole straight through
