You want to make sure those words are facing down and you want them facing the words located on the bottom of the box

The micro usb plug is a little more tricky to plug into your phone than say an iphone

If you remember that the lightening bolt should be facing up in order to plug the cord into your phone correctly you will be less likely to break the cord from inserting incorrectly
