It does go on flush with the face of the phone so the glass can be compromised in a drop

They are blue dot lights on the back of the case which indicate the battery life left on the case

Tip 2 when putting in your phone to the case first insert the phones bottom down into the case then slide the phone down as the back of the phone is flush with the edges of the top of the case

Then carefully insert the metal charge connector male end inside the case to the charging port of your phone female

Slightly adds to the thickness of the phone but significantly adds to the weight but this is ok as it adds what is effectively as double the battery life of the phone
