Word to the wise this is a 2 person build this futon mattress is pretty comfortable

The directions were unclear on this part but if you just loosen the screws a little bit on the frame it gives enough wiggle room to slide it into place

Got one stripped bolt though bit still good product this futon is awesome for our guest room
