It's supportive, yet comfortable. There seems to be 2 comfort zipper up = firm, zipper down = soft. It is more comfortable without a mattress pad, but also ew.

There is a slight scent when first opening the package but it fades quickly. It comes compressed in a box. Only complaint is that when i cut open the vacuum pack the dang thang sprung open so hard it * near yeeted me through the bedroom wall!

After a year of ownership this bed sleeps terrible! The wear on this bed is just not good. Back pain and lost sleep galore with this cheaply made product. Try stuffing the mattress into your bed every time you change the sheets.

The center drops in and no matter if you flip the mattress over it just falls in. Thankfully, we were refunded and found a dense, no motion transfer foam mattress off amazon.
