The problem was in how they were packaged

I ordered 30 hangers and they arrived in once package with 3 sets of 10 hangers banded and then taped together

The plastics bands were easily removed but when i removed the tape which was a wide clear plastic packaging tape a sticky residue remained on many of the hangers

Packaged securely so they were not scratched thought it would be difficult to scratch

One hanger of 30 was defective and i left the seller that feedback but it was not worth returning or dealing with that hassle
