There is a thin tall compartment where i usually keep my wallet and phone maybe a thinsmall book

And there is a fairly deep but small front pocket it sticks out about an inch or so

My other problem is that its a little tedious to switch between backpack and purse modes as you have to thread the strap through the center ring

When i carry diaper bag i usually dont carry a purse dont want a backpack style diaper bag either
