It ends up working out very well to achieve greater flatness. The mont is heavy. Easy to install and very sturdy.
Only downside is that with this mount you can't rotate the tv angle. It is not ultra slim, so the tv does stick out a little bit. Hence the hdmi and coaxial ports were cometely covered.
Cons
The tv hangers (two vertical pieces you affix to the tv) are where i ran into trouble. No kidding, this mount is like lifting a kettle bell. The product is hard to reach once the tv is on the wall to make any adjustments in regards to the tilt.
Latching mechanism is horrible. Cheap, flimsy, and impossible to get to with your fingers. You have to constantly pull and release the lock cord until it catches. Even getting it to actually lock in place requires some ingenuity.

Quality
All together i am happy with the mount but i would have liked to have a more secure method for locking it in place on the bottom
Previously i had mounted my older frame tv with the included two piece samsung bracket
The only issue i had was that it didnt come with the screws for my tv vesa mount
The other change i made was removing the tiny bubble level from the wall bracket it just pops off and i used a good quality level instead

Competitiveness
The mount worked really well for a flat mount samsung 55inch class s95b oled 4k
We mounted a 70in 70lb tv on it and i have no concerns that it won’t hold it
I used this mount for a very light vizio 40inch tv

So low in fact that you may not be able to plug some plugs into the back of the tv

If your plugs face straight out from the back of the tv versus out the side they may not fit unless you use some of the included bushings
