Pros & Cons
Pros
It works flawlessly! It makes short work of trimming the veneer edges on my 3/4in panels. Used it to trim the edge banding for our kitchen renovation.
Cons
The two plastic barrel connectors between the two halves scratch the surface of the edgebanding material especially if it has a glossy finish. It doesn't cleanly cut plain melamine iron on edge banding, it tears the edges.
This thing is completely useless. Used it for 1 min and now in garbage. Unless i just haven't figured out how to use this thing correctly, it's terrible.
Highlights
Quality
This simple tool made super speedy quick work of trimming iron on veneer wood strips for some counter tops i made
The tool is amazingly easy to use and provides great results
I started a project using a sharp razor blade to trim my edge banding but that was slow and inexact
This will not navigate around corners or rounded areas
Price
I ordered this trimmer based on good reviews and reasonable price and i am pleased with my purchase
