Pros
This is thick and comfy to stand on. Cushy and soft. It feels softer under foot but still has the extra thick padding.
New mat is thicker and more tapered. One end needs time to flatten out, but it will.
Good color for an oak kitchen. It is actually much brighter. The rug came without any flaws. The pattern matches our espresso cabinets and stainless steel appliances perfectly.
It wipes clean very easily. It is very textured so it may be more difficult to clean anything that may be smushy.
Cons
Provides almost zero cushioning. The creases leave the mat looking worn and curled. I am unsure about the quality and if these ends do not flatten, i will most definitely return.

I think if this happens i’ll take it out on the deck scrub with a soapy sponge and rinse with the hose

Anyways we have a new pup and apparently the big one in front of the stove must have had a food spill on it as he ate a hole in the top of it

In the uploaded pictures the one in front of my stove is the new thick one the second picture is my attempt to get a close up of the more tapered edge and how its thicker than the previous version

The last picture is in front of my fridge looks like a drawer and its the old version and its about 8 months old and holding up well
