Right out of the box, worked as advertised. My shed is all solar and this unit plugs right into my solar controller.
The intercom works perfectly for it's intended use. The perfect gift in my opinion. Very happy with purchase.
They also integrate great with other devices on 462mhz with dsq (digital squelch) programming. Other than that, the range is as specified.
Cons
Quality on these things is terrible! It also buzzes and pops no matter the channel. Will just start beeping and static constantly. One of the power cords is bad out of the box.
