This is not the thin walled heat shrink without adhesive that you often find at the electronic or hardware stores

This is a thick walled heat shrink with an inner coating of adhesive that literally glues the heat shrink to whatever youre applying it to

As a experiment we tried to remove the heat shrink on a scrap piece and it was next to impossible without adding heat

They have an adhesive on the inside and once applied do not come loose
