Other pads that have say 3 velcro backing but foam diameter of about 4 are much more forgiving than these are
But you need to be really careful the velcro backing on these pads go all the way to the pad edge which means its easy to kiss the velcro backing against your paint leaving a nasty and potentially deep semicircular gouge in your paint
