This 3d printer is by far the best printer i have had. This printer is easy for a beginner to use and also has more advanced features like removeable bed. This is a great choice for students or hobbyists that are just getting into 3d printing.

Customer service is a+ she sent me a new extruder along with bed stickers and nozzles. The magnetic removable plate is second to none. Always use the glue stick on the build plate.

Qidi has its own slicer that is very similar to cura and there are constant updates. Cura/other slicer settings are all you need if you know what you are doing. The wifi send from the modified cura based software is really nice.

May immediately sent me two new pads via dhl, shipped all the way from china. Received the parts in 3 days. Asked a few maintenance questions which they answered promptly.

Cons

Qidi slicer is a joke, looks good with with the advanced settings but who cares. Also, the machine gets confused at the end with simplify slicer, when finished it won't lower the heat & leaves the extruder on the model and melts away your model.

Packaging/appearance

This is a great printer right out of the box

Techsupport was with me from the very first question i have until now

I had to use my warranty because a clog was in the extruder and nothing worked to remove the clog

I noticed the nozzle head was loose and could not tighten due to wires in the way

Competitiveness

We would highly recommend a qidi 3d printer line to anyone weather for work or play

Yes even with 5 stars there are cons but it is less the machine and more that could be done to promote the growth of qidi products

I have not had the same results with petg filament
