Pros

Contacted customer service via e-mail and got a quick reponse from judy. Judy analyzes the issue and sends instructions usually in a video format. Good customer service is invaluable. Emily and judy are on top of their customer needs.

The qidi slicer program has some improvements to make dual color prints more reliable and clean. Qidi's cura works pretty well, the basic settings are easy for a beginner. I use prusaslicer and also whatever the latest cura version is.

Qidi's tech support is top notch. Support is far superior from qidi then any other brand.

Cons

Printer was broken upon arrival. Unfortunately the nozzles on the printer are off balance and the left one completely destroys any print that's bigger than 2 inches wide. The left extruder drags over the sample during printing.

Overall i am very satisfied with the first print

The print quality is good but i dont know the perfect settinfs for it yet

Only a couple of niggles with the product power switch on the back is the wrong side of the power lead and having to reach around is a pain

You can turn it off prior to printing with the touchscreen menu but not during

The price is pretty hard to beat if you compare it to other dualextruder printers

Because of the performance to price ration i was considering going with 4 stars

Shipping

If any replacements parts are needed they are available for relatively low cost and express shipping available

Shipping was a bit rough and the screen was damaged but the support team was able to get it resolved surprisingly fast

Mine came with a bent piece from shipping but the customer support was extremely quick and helpful

Packaging/appearance

It all fits easily into the xpro enclosure see picture

As you can see right out of the box the machine did a great job

This isnt even touching on the fact that this machine was fantastic right out of the box

If you want something predictable simple and reliable right out of the box maybe look elsewhere
