A lot of advice online had suggested that clear contact paper also would work just fine as a transfer tape especially if it was unstickied by sticking the contact paper against your clothes a few times

I guess ill have to end up using that long roll of clear contact paper as throwaway stenciling material instead

The only issue i had with this was when applying it to a 12x12 decal it was difficult to apply and wrinkled in some parts though it did not ruin decal

The grid lines are useful but they might be distracting on projects smaller than about 8 x 8
