    I bought 2 cameras from q-see - their $150 100 foot night vision camera and their $230 65 foot night vision high resolution camera (this one).

    Both cameras come with everything to get your camera connected to a vcr or digital recorder which is a pleasant surprise.

    The big difference is this unit uses a sony 1/3 ccd and their other one is using some smaller, no name ccd chip with alot of noise at night and a washed out picture during the day.

    It also has 2 weatherproof rings (they are barely visable in the photo underneath the tube) used to adjust the zoom and focus on the lens, something their cheaper cameras don't have.
