If yours is leaking from the threads you probably just need better gaskets

However if you are buying this as a replacement because you broke the switch on the one you have you should probably order 2 or 3 more

If you use it as much as i do the little switch gets worn out and if a few bits of debris get stuck as you close it it is likely to break again so you might as well have a few more on hand as backup or learn how to crimp your hose really really well on fillups

The valves themselves periodically give out although i have only gone through two valves in several years

Be sure not to leave the valve closed under prolonged pressure as this can cause them to fail prematurely
