I made the switch from using bpa free microwaveable plastic containers to these instead as i didnt like the fact that the dishes leaves a coloured food stain on the plastic containers and leaves the containers smelling of food residue no matter how thoroughly you wash them

These pyrex glass containers are more enviromentally friendly as once the plastic containers starts to have scratches or dents in them from excessive use it really is time to throw them away because they are no longer safe to use

Not sure if the lids can be used in the microwave but i wouldnt recommend it

I love it you can take it out of the freezer pack it into the oven and take it to work and vice versa hate the fact that the lid has to be plastic and it does leak unfortunately
