Bought for the hubby thinking it was the whole headgearbut was only the shield

I tested it by take a piece of steel banding and trying to forcefully cut through the screen

Would be better it didnt have the black coating on it but instead be a matte dull metal to reduce the chance of getting paint chips in eye if it flakes off when being struck by an item

Also the finer mesh acts to block more light so acts somewhat as a sun glass

I have a tr industrial hard hat and couldnt find a replacement for screen at lowes or home depot
