Pros
These speakers pack a wallop of sound. The fact that they're rated for outdoor use is icing on the cake. I plan to cover them in the future when i find something that works well for my setup.
Bluetooth connectivity is easy. Control from phone is easy and seamless. My husband testifies they were simple to install and put up.
Only complaints are the location of the volume knob at the back. Bought extra speaker wire to run it on my 35 foot patio from corner to corner. Installed about 9 feet above deck and 16 feet apart.
Cons
The warranty is lame. I believe moisture corrosion caused the failure. My old radio shack optimus speakers are much better!
The water seal covers are flimsy and won't stay in place. We have them outside, under a gazebo, and they blew within the first 6 months. Ours were installed under a patio roof, never exposed to rain or direct sun. Their site rates then as marine level... Read More
Not surprising but always disappointing, they are made in china. They're scam artists. Do not waist time or money on these. Very disappointed and wouldn't suggest purchasing these.

First off i decided to buy used instead of new because they were half the price

If you turn the volume down before connnecting your good but where mine are installed i control them on a switched outlet so i leave the volume on high and just flip the switch to turn them on
