The yellow base is a soft but very sticky gel not a rubber suction cup save that cover

The spot i chose was a bit off so i want to move it over a bit i unlocked the latch and no matter how much i tried to pry it off with my fingers it won’t budge i ended up having to wedge a credit card under it to get it to let go

Once stuck and latched to the windshield i inserted my cell samsung galaxy s7 that is in a rugged case with a kickstand

The kickstand makes the phone about ¼” thick than average

Stretched the arm out and laid my phone in and not 5 seconds later it popped out

Okay so it may be caused by my phone being in the case so i used a phone that had a regular bumper case
