Pros

Perlite has allowed maximum growth with minimum re-potting/containering. It also saves money - as most commercial potting soils do not provide adequate drainage or aeration. It’s nice and coarse and pretty uniform in size for my use.

Cons

Product is advertised as “coarse” and labeled the same. It is invisible bag which you don't know the size of perlite inside except you open the bag. When i opened the bag, it is even smaller than home depot.

I was beyond pleased to see that big beautiful bag

The same as the stuff ive been buying in smaller bags from the garden center

You may want to open your package with a mask on

Competitiveness

The quality on what i got is better than others i have had in the past

Perlite absorbs zero water while vermiculite absorbs and stores water until the plant needs it

In addition to perlite consider investing in some vermiculite

I will now pursue other options for perlite since there are cheaper ones out there
